WHAT WE DO
Our aim is to promote unity and professionalism among the Sri Lankans in the UK; and harness their talent for the development of Sri Lanka. As part of this we organise regular educational and cultural activities designed to entertain, educate and raise funds to support worthwhile causes.
Some examples being:
- Seminars, Road Shows, Research Forum, Dinner Dances and Social Activities,
- Post Tsunami house buildin, flood relief, helping the war displaced,
- Active contributions to establishing renewable energy appli-cations in Sri Lanka,
all-island school essay competition and supporting "Gaveshana" the magazine that promotes a research culture in Sri Lankan schools.
