Wishing everyone a healthy, successful 2026!

On behalf of the Association of Professional Sri Lankans in the UK (APSL-UK), we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for the tremendous support you’ve shown throughout 2025. It has been an exceptional year for APSL, and none of our achievements would have been possible without your trust, generosity, and encouragement.

Over the last 12 months, APSL has disbursed close to £60,000 (about 25 million Sri Lanka Rupees) to communities across Sri Lanka through our charitable initiatives. Highlights include:

We’ve also continued to work on:

Through these programmes, APSL has reached thousands of families and individuals across Sri Lanka. This impact is possible thanks to the kindness, generosity, and unwavering support of our donors in the UK and worldwide.

A special thank you to:

  • 👉 Our Executive Committee, APSL coordinators in Sri Lanka, and our wider membership
  • 👉 Our donors globally for helping us support communities both in Sri Lanka and the UK
  • 👉 Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the UK, Mr Nimal Senadeera, Deputy High Commissioner Mrs Manorie Mallikarachchi, and the staff of the Sri Lankan High Commission in London
  • 👉 Our colleagues in Sri Lanka’s hospitals, schools, Sarvodaya and other charities, government authorities, Tri-Forces, Sri Lanka Police, friends of APSL, community leaders, media partners, and our online communities

Gratitude to our corporate sponsors, partner organisations, and supporters who helped raise funds and amplify APSL’s work over the past year, including:

We are especially grateful to everyone who joined hands with APSL to deliver immediate relief after Cyclone Ditwah and to support our broader project portfolio. We remain fully committed to strengthening these efforts in the year ahead.

Our promise to all donors and supporters remains unchanged: every penny donated to APSL is used directly to support communities in need. APSL has operated for over 21 years as a registered UK charity, with all Executive Committee members serving on a voluntary basis and no funds used for personal or committee expenses.

Let’s continue to work together to maximise our collective impact and support Sri Lanka when it’s needed most. Wishing you and your families a very successful, healthy, and fulfilling 2026. Thank you once again for your continued support. 🙏
