On behalf of the Association of Professional Sri Lankans in the UK (APSL-UK), we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for the tremendous support you’ve shown throughout 2025. It has been an exceptional year for APSL, and none of our achievements would have been possible without your trust, generosity, and encouragement.

Over the last 12 months, APSL has disbursed close to £60,000 (about 25 million Sri Lanka Rupees) to communities across Sri Lanka through our charitable initiatives. Highlights include:

• Emergency response and relief after Cyclone Dithwah
• Scholarships for over 100 children through the APSL Scholarship Programme
• Ongoing cancer patient support island-wide through hospitals in Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Batticaloa, and Kandy via the APSL Cancer Relief Programme

We’ve also continued to work on:

• APSL Florence de Silva Fund to support children
• APSL Vocational Training Scholarships and APSL Solar Village Projects to expand education and skills
• We Sri Lanka Programme to support communities
• APSL Ask the Expert series for knowledge-sharing

Through these programmes, APSL has reached thousands of families and individuals across Sri Lanka. This impact is possible thanks to the kindness, generosity, and unwavering support of our donors in the UK and worldwide.

APSL has operated for over 21 years as a registered UK charity, with all Executive Committee members serving on a voluntary basis and no funds used for personal or committee expenses.
